Aim of the course

This is a state-of-the-art masterclass on minimally invasive (robotic and endoscopic) breast surgery, focusing on robotic assisted and endoscopic nipple sparing mastectomies and immediate breast reconstruction. The course will focus on indications, patient selection, all the technical aspects (including live surgery, console techniques, set-up for robotics), complications avoidance and management, research, outcomes, benefits, cost efficiency.

Educational Outcomes

Acquire knowledge of principles and practice of minimally invasive breast surgery in what regards patient selection, indications, prepare for MIBS, familiarization with surgical techniques, acquire information how to set up a minimally invasive breast surgical service, knowledge about the development of a minimally invasive breast surgery curriculum.
