Aim of the course

Led by an international faculty of well-known experts in the field, this course will be an introduction to minimally invasive oesophagectomy and gastrectomy (including robotic surgery). Several lectures will show the vast possibilities as well as potential pitfalls of these procedures. Participants will be divided into subgroups amongst endoscopic and robotic systems during the hands-on sessions in the cadaver lab. Finally, tips will be given on how to implement minimally invasive gastrectomy and oesophagectomy in your own centre.
